Hi there! I’m Monica, an award-winning supervising producer, director, storyboard artist, illustrator, and all-around storyteller and creator.
I absolutely adore storytelling but my favorite part of the process is the collaboration: getting to work with all aspects of the production pipeline, especially with the artists, production staff, and executives at various stages of the show is what makes my job truly rewarding and fun. It’s important to me that the crew not only feels like they’re a part of the team, but actually gets to be a part of the process and infuse the show with their own ideas and suggestions. Collaboration makes for a stronger show and a better story, and I work hard to foster the most creative and supportive environment that I can.
I also enjoy telling a variety of different stories in different mediums and formats. I have experience directing and storyboarding shows, shorts, social media content, and commercials in several genres including curriculum, comedy, action-adventure, and more. I’ve overseen shows and projects for both original and legacy IP, and have worked for smaller, boutique studios as well as larger companies and streamers. To me it’s all about the storytelling and characters, and I believe that can be brought out in shows for any age range or audience.
